Last weekend I had the honor and pleasure of shooting Drew’s and Susan’s wedding.  It was a really lovely day and both I and my trusty assistant J enjoyed ourselves!  With a wedding, I love to shoot the details – I loved the little lucky penny tied to the bride’s bouquet with her “something blue” ribbon.  I loved the detail of the beading on her gown.  I also loved that 3 of her (8!) bridesmaids were very pregnant and all due the same week.  I wanted to find a way to capture their very pronounced baby bellies alongside the bride.

We also got the beautiful sunset outside the reception.  That’s good luck, Susan & Drew!

Enjoy your new life together.  xoxo.

So I had an amazing time today doing engagement pics for my friend Tracy and her betrothed (that’s a word, right?), Roger.  I grew up with Tracy and we always have a good time making each other laugh.  Any photo session that ends with “Do you mind taking a few pictures of him giving me a piggy back ride?” is fine by me!  Congrats T & R!  xoxo
